Angela Davis and Ajamu Baraka Speak!

We are feeling energized after participating in a meeting of hundreds of black activists in Colombia between August 20 and 24! They are working to transform society and eliminate racism in solidarity with many other social movements throughout the world.

Please read Ajamu Baraka’s recent report back over at Counterpunch on the “street heat” at the 9th Meeting of the National Council of Palenques in Colombia and its relevance for Black Lives Matter in the United States.

We hope that you will consider donating to our joint campaign with Black Lives Matter to continue supporting the Black Women’s Movement in Defense of Life and the Ancestral Territories.
